:: About Shaun - Engineer, designer & athlete.

Ze end product when you bind the profession of Engineering & the passion of Design & Sports in one big pot with some added spice, parsley, & a pinch of craziness.

"One has to look out for engineers - they begin with sewing machines and end up with the atomic bomb!"
- Marcel Pagnol (1895-1974)

:: My words of twisdom

"Think different"
Boring are those who follow the crowd. What makes life interesting is the desire to stand out and be different, be the first or just be plain wacky- matter what people say. Listen to yourself and not perform tasks just because 'people said so' ...

"Help those in need"
My time as an active volunteer local and overseas community service volunteer taught me many things about life and not taking it for granted. Do spare a thought for others and those really in need.

"Life is like a movie- you get more than one try at it"
So don't bend down on failure. I had failed many times before (particularly in major school exams), but always get back up and try again.

"You only fail when you give up"
Though it would be tough, keep trying and you will succeed eventually.

"There is no faith"
Let be events and happenings you do in your life. You and only you are in control of your life.

"Inspiration- a key to success"
Ever wake up one day and say, I want to climb everest! On a more down to earth side, say clean up my room. To me, good works come straight from the inspiration you take to handle tasks. Do things not because of the shake of doing it, but just because my inner being inspires me to do so.

:: About Shaun

Shaun is a very busy, busy guy. When he's not curiously disassembling his kitchen fridge, daydreaming or fighting the ZZzz monsters, he is very much out there hanging out with his friends & family, drawing, gaming, jaming his guitar, coding his site, pumpin' at the gym, running himself silly in marathons.

Outgoing, creative and always full of ideas. He've always been fasinated at how mechanical things work around him, sparking his interests in doing illustrations, mechincal/character conceptual art & designs. His range of works range the bounds from modelling, conceptal drawings to that of computer generated digital media & web.

The DSTA and Ngee Ann Kongsi scholar has obtained 41 'A' grades and Distinctions with a perfect cumulative GPA of 4.0 during his whole course in Singapore Polytechnic but also enjoys the touch of athletics and art. The self-taught designer has been drawing and engineering "stuffs" since a very young age. Shaun not only spots more than 10 years of experience in web, flash & design under the belt. Besides enjoying creating webpages, he is also an avid industrial product designer with clients ranging from Siemens, MSC software to Singapore Tourism board. During his free time, he enjoys creating multimedia animations as well. Shaun never considers himself a jack of all trades, but very much a new age engineer with a flair in visual content, always challenging himself with new techniques and challenges at every corner.

Few people who aspires him are Walt Disney " - A dreamer, & doer".

Other insipration business figures include Mr Michael Dell (founder, Dell computers) Bill Gates, (founder, Mircosoft) Mr Sim Wong Hoo (Creative technologies).

Shaun is based somewhere in the world where air-conditioning is ruled as man's greatest invention, 4D/Toto is a way of life, char kuay teow & chicken rice rocks & the land of the best queuers in the world... also notoriously for (ahem) queuing (& fighting) over stuffed hello kitty toys, welcome to Singapore!

Be comfy and enjoy your stay here! Cheers.
