Whateva:
Could you please enlighten me with the kind of activities you did for your fyp, coz clearly the the celinders and stuff were not done by you guys, must have been out sourced, i think its just not fair for others who have actually put in hard work and | whateva»Whateva: have had minimum guidance or none at all. Just being dependent on your lecturer and out-sourcing leading to a crowd attraction can win you a GOLD...OMG... honestly education in SG is on the downfall....wonde r how the new generation of poly students
| whateva»Whateva: will perform in the industry....
| Shaun»Whateva: hey dude, are u referring to my FYP project? Of course the cylinders, bearings, pumps, etc are standard parts, you can buy them, no one will make them! Why reinvent the wheel? The custom parts will be the design, frame and mounting all designed and made in-house. I do not know what people have against poly FYPs, but many lecturers, including uni profs do not believe that it was all made by poly students and not out sourced, guess my project showed them!

Hi! Shawn! I have viewed your blog many times on random searches for the DSTA scholarship, and I was really impressed by your invention of the simulator! I have applied for it this year and I am just wondering when will the result out? generally? THX | Shaun»Celina: Hi Celina! merry christmas! Frm what I know, after u applied on brightsparks and if u meet the criteria, e.g results, security clearance, etc, then you will get an invitation for the 1st interview usually around Feb-March. Gd luck!

Baffled:
Why did you choose to study in polytechnic after JC? | Shaun»Baffled: that's simple, because no local universities wanted me back then!
| Baffled: Great though, you're now a student of Cambridge!
| Shaun»Baffled: Hi Baffled, nope! I think you mis-understood, Im not a student there as I had not been offered a place. I was just called up for their interviews. The posting results will be out early next year though, so I am keeping my fingers crossed!
