| Singapore Freelance Design - Concept and Illustration Portfolio |
Drawing and doing illustrations are just part and parcel of a love & hobby that defines the power of the imagination and the endless boundaries of the mind. Health Monitoring Watch
The Kinwel Aural is an all-in-one compact health monitoring device made into a digital watch. It offers an integration of most of the modern health and vitality monitoring in one tiny, non-intrusive and portable package. Challenges include making the watch as realistic as possible which means cramping as much technology into the smallest space possible without sacrificing weight and looks.

Wireless Weighing Scale
A companion to the Kinwel Aural, this scale is planned not only to take standard weigh readings, but body fat and water as well through internal body resistance values. The readings are sent wirelessly through the consumer 2.4Ghz wireless channel to the Aural watch where bodily analysis and recommendations are calculated for the end user.

Integrated Breakfast Machine
Labeled as the Cappobrewis, this concept is built upon involving and eliminating the morning hassles in preparing breakfast through the employment of an integrated and automated intelligent breakfast machine where you will get coffee and toast ready automatically at preset times. The illustrations focuses on the more user-oriented layout of the various components to fit the average household setting.

Code named the iDES (integrated digital entertainment system) this concept brings about a harmonic fusion of various electronic elements we are familar today into one unique package. These draft uncoloured sketches focuses mainly on the user-based experiences, aesthetics and mapping of the front panel controls and wired ports.

Straits Times Graffiti Art
This piece tells a story on it's own, going in hand with the Straits Times Classified "Buy it, Sell it, Find it" Theme. It paints a story of a character looking for a car and found a deal and his dream car after going through the Straits Times Classifieds. This piece came in 3rd overall among all the Graffiti entries in Singapore.

Mech Defender | |
This is one piece where attention to detail is an utmost priority. As the theme suggest, it’s based in the future where law enforcement takes a step into robotics, and also to counter the ever increasing threats from robotic assisted crimes. This particular Mech is mounted with twin electrically ignited automatic 50 gattling cannons, which churns out more than 9000 rounds a minute. The piece displays extensively in it’s true glory the complexity of the city and it’s interlinking bridges and walkways.

Castles in the Sky | |
Largely inspired by the song "Castles in the Sky" by DJ Sammy, each of these floating behemoths is actually a self contained city each. Where it's inhabitants roam airy habitable planets which sustains the craft flight. Though based in the future, the crafts still employs rather traditional yet aged-proven technological theories of air and wind power for propulsion and flotation (only within a planet’s atmosphere), contrary to expensive jet or antimatter propulsion systems and leaving the latter of zero-g travels on the milky way.

Quad Factory | |
A mobile mining factory (mounted on a quad walker) moving through a barren inhabitable planet. Sent from earth, this factory relies largely on pressurised hydraulic locomotion in zero-g environment to animate it's quad legged configuration in order to negotiate the unforgiving terrain found in most of the outer planets it visits - where resources are rich and abundant compared to the depleting resources the earth is still sustaining.

Dark City | |
Overcast in the dark urban city, a lone outlaw overlooks his city in the whee hours of the urban night. Shrouded in darkness and masked by the faint burning smell of sulphur from the industrial districts. This piece is inspired by the beauty of urban art, the very esence of concrete and tarmac, ontop of it being a concept illustration of a high density urban area.

Assault Bot | |
It will come a time inevitably where automation will replace all form of hazardous jobs, including warfare. The "Bot" is a self sufficient battle field ready assault bipod which runs off reverse fusion reactors - converting matter into usable energy (Based on Einstein's basic theory of E=MC2). Therefore, with the exception of physical damages, practically and theorically it is able to sustain prolonged battles by fuelling itself from materials from it's surroundings.

Hybrid Attack Helicopter
A mix between an RAH Commanche, together with some flared components for a Longbow and the birthchild of a Hind and Havic (Ka-50), therefore the hybrid combination. Distinctive features include the forward looking infra red (FLIR nose sensor), discrete rotor mounted hidden ground radar, chiseled electromagnetic wave (radar) absorbing body and low signature shielded exhausts and tail rotor.

Battle Tank Concept | |
I was always fansinated by mechanical workings and details of machines. Tanks are in no particular exception being engineered fighting machines - definately a force to recon with. Dissected and came out with my own simple concept illustration of a main battle tank variant complete with cutaway perspective showing the barrel, crew and gas turbine engine compartment and orthogonal views.
