You gotta love the random rockets in random places
Peace never looked so funky!
Opps.
The computing exhibits
At the computing section
Did someone say thermioic valve?
So this thing sucks? :3
The marine section of the museum
Featuring a myriad of naval navigational...
...and sighting equipment
There are many marine models on display
Love the details of the displays
There is an international scope to the vessels on display
Due to the size of naval equipment, many are scaled models
With the exception of a select few...
There is never a problem of too much turbine horsepowers!
Dude where's my junk?
Good thing for the invention of SCUBA!
Few of the many naval vessels
I always have a soft spot for the majestic battleships
Coracles? Can it be eaten?
The marine display spans 2 full levels
Now for my favorite exhibit
It showcases the human developments in flight
In man's dreams to fly
including a piston prop engine
but nothing can beat the jet turbine!
A modern bypass jet engine
There are even full planes on display
The hangar even has space for a 747 cuttaway
Visitors craming into a cockpit
and even a harrier jet!
Not so black blackboxes... :P
WWII planes on display
Blimps and zeppelins
Right for the launchpad?
With many motion simulators on the floor too
The launchpad is an educational play area and theater
The activity play area
For both kids and those young at heart. ;P
A display dedicated to King George the 3rd
Featuring 18th century technological advancements
Simply mind boggling!
The view of the atrium by the museum cafe.
A pendulum clock telling the time from simple oscillations...
...the catch being it suspended almost 6 floors up, amazing!
Big rockets must only mean...
There are many rocket and satellites on display
Including those courtesy of the US of A!
The apollo lunar lander
