- The peak is actually higher than it looks
- This dude keeps following me
- Some of the steep uphills
- Not to mention the long straights as well
- With each step you take
- But the views just gets better
- I am in a Postcard!
- That's Rydal lake below, where we initially came from
- There's a surprise near the top
- Not like we didn't know there's a cave up here!
- The size is respectable, though not exaclty big
- Shaun-cave, Cave-Shaun
- Rydal cave was previously known as Loughrigg quarry
- The cave interior
- Oh little stepping stones, where do they lead to?
- Hang loose!
- Strange sign outside with some serious-looking words.
- Well lets find out!
- With the many granite deposits found at the top...
- that means many other caves around the area too!
- Despite being way much smaller, it looks like a crawl in
- not mention, not as deep
- But it's quite inaccessible
- With a steep drop by the cave entrance
- There's another baby cave not too far off
- Our return saw a walk down a nicely forested cobble path
- It was a clunky, noisy walk
- Rydal lake from the path
- The place is real breezy!
- Trees playing dead
- The lake at sunset
- Enjoying the moment.. nice!
- This sunset view is priceless
- Chilling out by the lake bank
- One with nature
- You can never get tried of these views
- This creepy guy is still following me!
- Embarking on the journey back
- Farewell Rydal!
- For a chill out at the local pub!
- With local steak. :P
- For a well deserved meal! Cheers!
