Checking out the gold souk
just like what we saw back at the outdoor markets previously
Which is essentially an upper class gold souk
Complete with niffy starlight overhead
The next highlight in the mall will include
Back in the AC environment of the mall
Seeing more stars!
You guessed it, in the world's largest mall, we have..
It stretches for quite a distance..
Fountains play at the mall lake every half hour
Behold, the Dubai Fountain!
Ending with spectacular tall water jets
Water Kaboom!
You get choreographed jets with music
Biggest in everything is always Dubai's tradition
And we are lovin' it
The underwater tunnel, seen from outside
Even with it's own Guinness plaque to boot
Let head on in!
Inside the central tunnel

Oh look sharkie!
Mmm sharkie....

Including a Ray family too!
they even have Sharks disguised as Humans
Short tunnel is short
The tunnel looks as if meant to be a free item in the mall
There are still limited Coral life in the tank
But the schools of fishes look healthy
A side effect of being in the sun for too long
And they can get rather large in number here

Next stop the Dubai Zoo!
It's essentially an aquarium and mini zoo right in the mall
Fishes!
Nah nah you can't get me!
Many of the tanks have rather cool convexing effects
Spot lighting to mimic daylight
Oh look a river otter!
A freshwater pond
Sun bathing lazy bums... :p
All encased with rather thick plastic panels
Including big grumpy ones of the Arapaima kind

not to mention niffy energetic catfishes
The displays snake through rather well rainforest themed areas
With controlled humidity to boot as well!
