Work had definitely eaten not only my personal time but much of my usual run and training schedules - I had not been running regularly, (clocking awfully low week millage in the process) nor attending track training in school last few weeks. Furthermore, if it's not hitting my personal weekly distance requirement of 30km, it's beating it off...

Ahh here I am tucked in the comfort of my room surrounded by lecture notes, library books and stationary, while still typing this post.
Well the exams are just around the corner & I say, this semester is as tough as it can get, in fact it's the most packed ever, with 9 modules to take (excluding the internship...
Did a 11km cross-country run at MR today afternoon (Time 1:07). Running there today does bring back alot of old army memories - It's along the tree top route past the round about MR route into rather familiar training areas I've trained during my NSF days, then exiting around the golf course area back through MR then at the...

RACE REPORT
You've finished, we see a Winner! As anticipative as I was last night trying to sleep at 10pm, the next moment it's already time to wake up at 4:15am. Left the house at 4:50am for hawker breakfast. Disappointingly, most breakfast stores, though open had not started selling yet (I remembered eating there at an earlier time before... funny).
Dad...

Collected my SCM Race pack at Suntec today. Meeting my trackmates at Suntec itself (Weiwen, Xiaoqiang, Elrick, Youboon, Alex), after being 1hour late as I've to help Sheena with some photography works at the esplanade drive park. My Bib no is 3392. The race pack collection was fast, professional and a breeze. Just hope this year's baggage collection would...
Sunday was the 2006 Swissotel Vertical Marathon, an event which I would see myself participating almost annually since last year. Maybe because of the love & uniqueness of the sport, not to mention my kakis who always participate the event together. On top of the usual annual line up of cross-country, adventure races and marathons.
I was actually more...
My distant Uncle and auntie are in Singapore now, just flown in today afternoon where Mum, Dad and Cous Gordon's family went to pick them up from the airport, therefore being away the whole day. Dropped by City hall in the afternoon to collect my Swissotel Vertical Marathon goodie bag (event in a fortnight's time). The Shoe bag is...
My calves area had been quite sore over the last few days, but definately much better today. Nevertheless still walking around with a slight limp, regretted forgetting not to stretch after the NIE run, now it's like too sore to do so.
Upcoming event will be Wild on Wheels organised by the Singapore Youth for Christ (SYFC). It will be...
The dusk-to-dawn NIE relay was on last night, man was it a grueling race, even much more demanding then a marathon, so as pf & me concluded. But nevertheless it was one of the most cohesive and fun long races ever with over 40 teams running throughout the 12hour 2.4km relay, the good competition all in the benefit for...
Well the big run is tomorrow, wish everybody luck in the 12 hour heck of a race challenge from 9pm - 9am. Never would I even see myself running so late past my bedtime too, well besides a possible occasional 24hr Ultra-Marathon or an Ironman.
Generally, to ease competition tensions and fatigue I will generally organise it as an...

😕 Initially I have second thoughts of running this race as I've never tried running and staying active for 12hours and at unearthly hours way past my bedtime, do not know how my body will react to such conditions. So as ZY and WW pulled out. But it's not like I've not done this in the army, going for...

The Terry fox run was on this morning. Contrary to the clear weather conditions during breakfast at redhill market, dark clouds and strong winds greeted us at habour front hawker center at 7am upon meeting up with Alex and his friend Albert (who always can't helped to be mocked my Alec about his age and the lack of a...
