Let’s take a dine-in at Pizza Amore, a casual pizza place located within the new Pasir Ris Mall in Singapore which opened their door late-2024. This local Italian-inspired dine-in restaurant offers a blend of traditional and contemporary Italian cuisine with pizzas and pastas as their main menu offerings.

The restaurant is situated on the second level of the mall. They are a relatively new addition to the F&B offerings here at the new Pasir Ris mall. Upon Today, it stands as a popular dining spot known for its pizzas, pastas, and a range of Italian dishes.

Upon entering Pizza Amore, the casual yet warm ambiance is immediately noticeable. The interior is modern with a comfortable atmosphere. The restaurant spots an open bar right at the entrance with a mix of re-configurable tabled seating allowing for small and large groups.

Moreover, the open kitchen setup allows you to watch your meals being freshly prepared. Also, seating is offered in small tables good for groups in both indoor and outdoor open-air seating outside of the restaurant grounds. There are also private rooms available.
An Italian menu offering
Furthermore, the menu at Pizza Amore at Pasir Ris mall covers a variety of Italian dishes. Pizzas and pastas are the centrepiece though there are also side offerings like western grill dishes. There is also a beer bar counter serving drinks and alcohol too, though that is not the main draw of patrons dining here.

First off, their pizzas. Signature pizzas here include their Tonkotsu Pizza ($25.80), which features a combination of pork broth sauce, bacon and corn as staple items with a rich tomato base. It does feels like a giant corn pasty bun and strikes a balance between savoury and tangy flavours. The pizzas are electric-oven fired and has a browning on the crust which goes it a crisp.

Thin and lights pizza great for sharing
Moreover, besides the Tonkotsu pizza to try, their Prosciutoo pizza comes with generous and large servings of Parma ham with onions and zucchini, which strikes a balance with salty ham and greens. Also, a favourite is the Hawaiian pizza ($23.80), you can’t go wrong this is pizza favourite loved by generations, topped with its iconic grilled pineapple. Other interesting unique pizzas includes their Crabmeat pizza, though I find it overshadowed by the earlier mentioned offers.

Notably, the dough in Pizza Amore‘s pizzas is thin and crispy, yet manages to hold up under generous servings of toppings. I found their pizzas are light and much smaller in portions than the Yellow Cab Pizza Co we had previously at Citylink One Raffles Link.
Also, the light pizza offerings and were not as filling as I thought. A pizza can feed about 1-2 pax with mains. It allows you to have it in accompaniment with a pasta main, without making you overly full.
Not forgetting their pastas

Moreover, I found their pastas another staple offering on their menu. On the menu are also a selection of pasta staples. Their Crabmeat Pasta ($22.80) is a peculiar one and has your pasta tossed in Squid ink and usually not a common menu options in most Italian restaurants.

Also, another standout is their Beef Genovese ($24.80). It is made with fresh chunky pappardelle 24-hour slow cooked beef and pasta drenched in brown creamy sauce. The Beef Genovese dish has a rich, meaty taste that complements the pasta well.

Moreover, their Meatball Pasta ($20.80) with one served with linguine, tomato sauce, Parmesan cheese, ricotta. The meatballs are pretty large and the pasta is cooked with a comfort-food style with flavourful bolognese sauce. It tad affirms pasta as one of their finer dishes.

Also, if you are a Risotto fan, their Pan-Fried Seabass Risotto is an offering here, though quite pricey at $28.80 a pop. Risotto is not commonly found in most restaurants in Singapore and it is pleasing to see Pizza Amore offering it. The risotto, while flavourful, might be slightly too heavy and can become overwhelming due to its creamy consistency.

Western grille dishes
In-addition, besides their pastas are a selection of western grill dishes, such as grilled dish and chicken. However, not every item on the menu meets the same high standards. Moreover, their steaks are underwhelming for the asking price. For instance, their Ribeye steak ($36.80) touts to offer a 250g 200-day grain-fed Australian beef.

It is served with salsa, garlic confit, cherry and vine tomato. The steaks are cooked well to your liking. Though I find it not as tender and dry for a medium-rare steak. For the price, you can get better yet cheaper steak offerings from iSteaks premium steaks, which has larger and thicker cuts besides being more tender.
Wrapping up their menu options are sharing be their cooked fresh Sauteed Mussels and Deep-Fried Calamari (both $16.80 each) are good options to share in groups too. Though their oysters do run out pretty quickly by early evening by dinner time. A dinner with a pasta main, pizza sides to share can set you back at least about $40-50 per head, not exactly a budget offering and more of an indulgence.

Wrapping up
Service-wise, staff members are attentive without being intrusive. Though you might need to wait long to be attended to during peak dinner hours. The staffing is lean with enough staff for serving, orders. Food is served in a timely manner, with an average wait under 15-20 minutes. Also, the restaurant’s environment remains lively without being overly noisy. This makes it suitable for families, groups, or even casual date nights.

All in all, Pizza Amore at Pasir Mall provides a well-rounded dining experience that delivers on its promise of Italian comfort food. I found the overall quality of the food, combined with the inviting atmosphere and attentive service, makes this restaurant tad a solid choice for anyone craving Italian cuisine in Singapore. Pizza Amore is conveniently located at Pasir Ris Mall, at 7 Pasir Ris Central, Level 2, Singapore.
