A tale of 12 Burgers

Being a burger joint, on the menu is an offering of hand-made gourmet burgers.  You can’t wrong with their regular Grub cheeseburger $14.80 as a start, or if you are undecided. Grub Cheeseburger ($16) packed with a 140g beef patty is one to go for. It is laced with melted Monterey Jack cheese, with an option to upsize to a double cheeseburger at $20. Though you are mostly good for the single patty.

Moreover, there are twelves different types of burgers here to choose from ranging from staples to local incarnations. On the menu is a selection of locally inspired burgers. Examples include their Grilled Satay Burger ($15), Har Cheng Gai burger ($15) or Mala Burger ($19). Also, the eatery was also touting their Nasi lemak burger, though I did not try it out during my visit.

Another recommendation be their Grilled Chicken Burger ($15). It is a rather tall burger, stacked and loaded with a giant fillet of Teriyaki glazed chicken thigh, packed with enoki fritter and topped with lots of mayo. It is quite a compelling and messy burger, which does give it character.

Moreover, your burgers are served on a wooden plate with separate sides of straight cut fries. with the option to bump your regular fries to Mentaiko or Truffle fries at $3 extra. Also, the fries is not overly oily, though I was expecting for the asking price. There are no drinks included in your set.

Well priced quality burgers

Furthermore, I found their burgers reasonably well priced for the offers and quality. They are American-style burgers which are loaded with contents and overflowing with sauce. Though the burgers portions are tad Asian-sized and could probably be larger. On quality, I found their patties flavourful, soft and juicy, without being too mushy nor disintegrates easily when bitten into.

Their burgers are priced under the $20 price range, with their more pricey options in the $19 to $20 range, with fries included. This gives Grub Burgers more value offering than gourmet incumbents like Fat boys and Social outcast which cost over the $20 price range.

Also, wrapping up Grub menu options are a selection of Pasta dishes, interesting offering out of the ordinary includes their Sakura Ebi with prawns ($18) and Chilli Crab.

All in all, Grub burgers at Bishan Park offers a tad nice great affordable burgers under $20 with an interesting selection of locally-inspired burgers out of the ordinary which is commendable. An of affordable burgers surrounded by a nice ambience of greenery, a very compelling offering.

Verdict:

Must Go! | Actually pretty Good | Worth Trying | Shortlist Optionally | Should Avoid
