All
- grass too cushy I guess...
- signs pointing to more areas of interests
- here are few of the art pieces lined along the park paths
- hort park also allows you to appreciate shiny stuffs sticking from the ground
- besides bamboo forests...
- such as sunbathing cradles out of nowhere
- but everything here is not a zany and whacky...
- and nice touches of neat modern architecture
- did I mention neat?
- out of place potted plants
- plants growing out of almost anything
- they even have plants mutated into children playgrounds as well!
- a scarecrow with not crows to scare
- there are many other nice oddities on display too...
- and invisible people having wine!
- and pink bridges out of nowhere
- theres a proper rest area and snack area in the park as well
- the park also snakes along side contrasting industrial areas
- the greenhouse area
- who knows what those evil botanists are brewing in here, killer tomatoes?
- I may be your friendly greenhouse, but am ain't green!
- hi I am a sign and I tell no lies, succumb to my directions!
- and we are off to the treetop canopies!
- trees+top= need for relief meaning more uphills!
- few of the winding meandering paths in the area
- the 1st glimpse of our steel trees
- this part of the trek sees us back into some small secondary forests again
- though we could really appreciate the shade of a primary forest!
- few of the omg! part of the trip! (while I can hear you hillwork runners go yay!)
- once upon reaching the top of the park
- you will see this the start of the tree top canopy walk
- it's like one of the mangrove trail walks, only like wayyy much higher
- offering rather interesting but otherwise tree-obscured views
- the canopy walk is not as popular due to it being quite out of place in the connector route
- thats all for that boring walk, our next stop will be Kent Ridge Park!
- our journey sees us through more mini forests
- before arriving at...
- Kent Ridge (park) itself!
- the land of signboards, carparks and decommissioned tanks!
- facing the sea, the place is very airy and windy
- hurray for our west coastline being turned into a container port!
- the place also spots an offroad trail for mountain bikers and trekkers
- though I won't label it as a Bt Timah alternative
- despite it's proximity to Hort park, the place is only frequented only by regulars or people living around the area
- Most people will just park their car at the free carparks here and head off the other direction towards Hortpark itself
- wonder where that leads to?
- something tells me the trees here love to fall...
- we exited Kent Ridge park through this pond route, before
- argh! walking through civilization (Science park I)
- Here we are at the Heritage trail part of Kent Ridge trail (get it? neither do I!)
