- Animated toilet mirrors
- Arghhh! Ads are everywhere now!!
- ok thats all folks on the journey! glad you like the photos!
- it's own macdonalds as well! whoa so thats where everyone's gone to!
- offering not only large picnic areas, but...
- the place is a packed family outing area
- yup our intel and spies confirms that the right place alrite!
- and here we are finally at West coast park!
- across the west coast highway
- and this big open field
- as with every downfall comes with something else... this one across west coast crescent
- we will leave Clementi woods for now...
- sad to see Clementi woods, a shadow of it's former self
- the park restaurant is still there and is a Japanese restaurant now
- clementi woods is not exactly bike friendly given the large number of steps in the park, but too small to be considered a proper
- with the exception of people...
- clementi woods was once a mangrove area, so there are quite alot of such varieties of swamp plants here
- here, we get the backdoor entry to the park note its proximity to the road!
- yup it kinda have characters arranged in a way, that reading it out spells the place we intend to go as well!
- is that a lone signboard I spy?
- our next destination lies beyond this path
- after a short walk and we are out of that urban jungle
- and poof suddenly here we are at NUS!
- alot of the road are banked really nicely, far more than those in Mt Faber
- and lizard crossings
- Here we have big PUB water bottles
- a walk on the upper Kent Ridges of Kent Ridge, get it?
- so as confirmed by the signboard
- Here we are at the Heritage trail part of Kent Ridge trail (get it? neither do I!)
- argh! walking through civilization (Science park I)
- we exited Kent Ridge park through this pond route, before
- something tells me the trees here love to fall...
- wonder where that leads to?
- Most people will just park their car at the free carparks here and head off the other direction towards Hortpark itself
- despite it's proximity to Hort park, the place is only frequented only by regulars or people living around the area
- though I won't label it as a Bt Timah alternative
- the place also spots an offroad trail for mountain bikers and trekkers
- hurray for our west coastline being turned into a container port!
- facing the sea, the place is very airy and windy
- the land of signboards, carparks and decommissioned tanks!
- Kent Ridge (park) itself!
- before arriving at...
- our journey sees us through more mini forests
- thats all for that boring walk, our next stop will be Kent Ridge Park!
- the canopy walk is not as popular due to it being quite out of place in the connector route
- offering rather interesting but otherwise tree-obscured views
- it's like one of the mangrove trail walks, only like wayyy much higher
