- We were brought around the orphanage farms with vegatable farms, pigs and rabbits!

- They work, farm for a living and to keep the orphanage operations alive

- There we get to interact with the orphans/single parent (all very low income)
- Still could not get enough of medan traffic, you need 6 eyes to drive here!
- it's a hit with the kids, not to mention interactive, the one with the correct answer gets a balloon prize.
- it's a free old folks home, run purely on donations
- theres horses, not to mention loads of natural landmines everywhere
- and there's gifts for everybody!
- our flight back to Singapore
- Thats all folks, the Rotaract Club 06 Medan Trip!
- where we had a overnight fellowship BBQ!
- there Charcoal and Diesel grills!!
- The late night was spent at the jetty..
- we couldn't stop taking pictures here...
- The night was spent at the brastagi highland resort
- nice early morning walk

- There, we tried the local steam/roasted corn delicacy
- The day followed by a visit to the brastagi market
- Day6, the highland in the Morning
- our last night at one of the 'fast food' coffeeshops with more NasiAyam!
- the light rain didn't drench our BBQ one bit
- the stand-by us-ers with Lisa's Dad
- we celebrated Ann's early birthday with an opening by the rotary president
- The kids are a happy bunch
- it's farewell at the airport after our last fellowship dinner with the hosts
- tide's still low
- 1 hr into the journey & we can still see the islands
- we slowly migrated to the starboard on the later part of the return journey

- the camera is not good catching things underwater thou...esp at night
- what else to keep us occupied on a 4hr boat trip..

- my camera ain't very good at night, neither being able to catch the spectacular night star formations.
- & its heck it's one of the biggest in the area too
- till Uncle George came with his Uber pistol grip diving light!
- A trip to enjoy, a holiday experience to remember..
- & on our way back to Mersing!
