we exited Kent Ridge park through this pond route, before
view of pasir panjang road from the arch
trees+top= need for relief meaning more uphills!
though we could really appreciate the shade of a primary forest!
Though it's not quite connected to the rest of the park!
though I won't label it as a Bt Timah alternative
this route very much involves the old way up the hill, unless you take the Marang trail route
this part of the trek sees us back into some small secondary forests again
this is the highest we can get - 77m!
this is the "donate a tree" area of the walk, which showcases few of the longer straight stretches of the walk
they even have plants mutated into children playgrounds as well!
theres a proper rest area and snack area in the park as well
there's quite alot of people here!
There is also a mini skate park near the queenstown end of the park
there are plenty of information maps at the attractions for those who want to know bit more on top of those who are topograhical
there are many other nice oddities on display too...
there are many cool height markers engraved on the bridge's floors, though 60m is nothing really great to brag about!
the whole structure floor is mainly made from triangular gratings with holes large enough to allow leaves/water to fall through,
the terrace garden is nice, but not a highlight of today's walk
the place is a packed family outing area
The place can be rather breezy at times
the place also spots an offroad trail for mountain bikers and trekkers
The park runs close to many of the residential HDBs in the area
the park restaurant is still there and is a Japanese restaurant now
The park is also a family place, with lots of playgrounds littered along the route
the park also snakes along side contrasting industrial areas
The old canal used to run through this area, will it's all covered by the park now.

the hort in "hortpark" stands for horticulture, which derives from the Latin hortus meaning a 'garden' space... ok....
the henderson "sinusoidal" wave bridge is also Singapore's tallest "over head bridge" lol!
the height is cool, but not scary enough!

the forest walk ends at the interlinking Alexandra arch bridge
the faber walk we will see us through the "Jewel Box" aka the cable care station
The Emergencies Alert Beacon (EAB) functions similarly as a military CAT status indicator which warns of possible thunderstorms
the canopy walk is not as popular due to it being quite out of place in the connector route
the built up area has quite few zeny looking areas
