- located at the peak of the faber hill...
- the bridge is open top, with no shelter at all
- it have some small shaded resty areas, but blocks only the sun partially on this sunny day
- man it does look high up from here!
- the terrace garden is nice, but not a highlight of today's walk
- holly molly! a whole Donkey Kong level!
- there's quite alot of people here!
- some photogenic shots above
- what we are partly here for lies after some stretches of Telok Blangah hill roads
- which runs on ground dirt tracks along with the forest walk
- I spy a dome with my little eye
- and under!
- wonder where this leads us too..
- if saving princesses ain't your cup of tea, there always the earth trail
- more of those information, ummm sign thingies
- hello I am a dirt track & I miss people trampling on me!
- did I mention HIGH? look down!
- some of the various scenic and high spots of the walk
- a view of the hill walk platforms from a distance
- here are some of the inter-twining areas part of the route
- lined along the forest walk are details and elaborations of vegetation which survived the construction process...
- don't ask me, I like how this picture was framed
- a quick escape route in case any nature calls
- a view you never thought you can get in central Singapore... (now is that a starbucks joint behind that tree?)
- some of the trekkers on a mission...
- the whole structure floor is mainly made from triangular gratings with holes large enough to allow leaves/water to fall through,
- some more stainless steel structure porn
- we exited Kent Ridge park through this pond route, before
- is that a lone signboard I spy?
- we will leave Clementi woods for now...
- ok thats all folks on the journey! glad you like the photos!
- with the exception of people...
- clementi woods is not exactly bike friendly given the large number of steps in the park, but too small to be considered a proper
- Here we are at the Heritage trail part of Kent Ridge trail (get it? neither do I!)
- as with every downfall comes with something else... this one across west coast crescent
- argh! walking through civilization (Science park I)
- across the west coast highway
- clementi woods was once a mangrove area, so there are quite alot of such varieties of swamp plants here
- the forest walk ends at the interlinking Alexandra arch bridge
- wonder where that leads to?
- yup our intel and spies confirms that the right place alrite!
- so as confirmed by the signboard
- after a short walk and we are out of that urban jungle
- our next destination lies beyond this path
- Most people will just park their car at the free carparks here and head off the other direction towards Hortpark itself
- and this big open field
- it's own macdonalds as well! whoa so thats where everyone's gone to!
- alot of the road are banked really nicely, far more than those in Mt Faber
- the park restaurant is still there and is a Japanese restaurant now
- the place is a packed family outing area
