- The sights just gets better with each turn!
- The place is nicely carpeted
- and has space for a total of 40,000 devotees
- The central candelier viewed directly from below
- The main prayer stand
- Few of the nicely decorated pillars within the hall
- between each pillar structure sits a rather neat looking stained glass flower
- view of the central area from the sides
- making our humble exit from the halls
- Couldn't get enough of perfection?
- feast your eyes on these!
- The mosque also spots 82 domes in total of different sizes
- and is home to few nice gardens too
- view of the exterior gardens within the Mosque compound
- Strange that all the water ponds are all dry
- Oh at least there's some water bodies here
- Fountains are like an oasis here, a rare sight indeed
- This one jumps too!
- Taking a walk by the gardens by the main building
- And an occasional duck into the walkways to escape the burning desert sun
- Sigh, views you can never get tried of
- The mosque actually spots a fusion of different architectures
- namely Arab, Mughal and Moorish architecture.
- The Ablution areas are located in the basement
- Being the 20th century, is accessible by escalators. :P
- The Ablution central drinking fountain
- The galleries to the washing areas
- No expense were spared in the washing area too, they look fantastic
- Even the toilets are beautifully decorated
- Possibly one of the nicest toilets on our trip!
- You need to don slippers to visit the toilets too
- As the sun sets
- Everything seems to line up pretty well here.
- The hallways cast real nice shadows from the openings
- Time to bid farewell to the mosque for now.
- capturing the moment
- And a fantastic sunset!
- All board the boogie bus for our next stop!
- with a ride through the Eastern Corniche
- views of the Mangrove swamps
- Love the calmness of the Corniche
- Yaz Island!
- which means leaving the city...
- and passing through some port areas
- long distance power lines
- Passing by some mangrove areas
- with the faint Abu Dhabi skyline in the distance
- Ferrari world spotted!
- Approaching Yas Island from the freeway
- The Yas Gardens
