A remote yet popular area in the Lake District Day 2 of my trip in the Lake District UK. Starting with a long bus trip into the cloudy mountains of Glenridding, catching Ullswater on a traditional steam boat and scaling our first mountain of the trip- Helvellyn.

Now to look for a ride of the steamy kind.

-
when in doubt, just head to the nearest lake!

the spot is popular with caravan campers

boats and lake, a perfect combination
