Rydal lake here we come!
It is home to the Rydal mount
And the Rydal community
You can come here for tea. :)
Or check out the fanastic gardens
Whoa a Traditional english garden!
in person too!
Behold! a sight to behold!
The neatly manicured lawns so screams JUMP ON ME!
I will stick to the jumping water for time being
Ooo a neat sundial
Overlooking a field of grazers
The hall from the gardens
The gardens from the hall
Time to move on to the lake!
Reachin the lake involves crossing
Some large water bodies. :P
Good thing for bridges!
relaxing sounds of the flowing river
The tranquility is awesome!
With my trusty trek stick
Time to conquer the paths!
This should lead directly to the lakes.
Not without passing through some forested areas by the lake
The bank views are wicked!
Looks like a scene straight off a postcard!
Accessory rocks & dead tree branch included!
No wonder we don't see people fishing here. :P
Overview of the main lake bank
The trail runs along it
The tide levels are optimal
Mountains around the area
Few of the many trail water crossings
Past the lake, the trail starts to climb
On the right track!
This route makes an awesome mountain bike trail too
But I am sticking to foot for today!
The peak is actually higher than it looks
This dude keeps following me
Some of the steep uphills
Not to mention the long straights as well
But the views just gets better
With each step you take
I am in a Postcard!
That's Rydal lake below, where we initially came from
There's a surprise near the top
Not like we didn't know there's a cave up here!
The size is respectable, though not exaclty big
Shaun-cave, Cave-Shaun
Rydal cave was previously known as Loughrigg quarry
