Waterfalls, trekking & cruises at one of the most iconic UK lakeside towns The second exploration day of our trip at the Lake district saw ourselves trekking hills and forests, visiting waterfalls and a topping it with river cruise on Lake Windermere.

- Erosion is rather light here, given the size of the stones insitu
- You can see right through the stream bed

- We found this nice river down stream from the falls

- You do need to climb over somebit of rocks to get to it
